An alert from the Neighbourhood Watch

Dear Neighbourhood Watch Member, With the very positive development that the borough is rolling out mass testing and vaccinations, it has also come to my attention that scammers are taking advantage. Hammersmith and Fulham Police have reported a very sophisticated scam in which a text/email purporting to be from NHS asks the recipient to complete a form. At the end of the form they ask for bank details. Please be sure to be sure to spread the word to be extra vigilant – avoid clicking on any links/entering details unless you are confident of where a text/email has been sent from. The NHS would never ask for bank details. With best wishes, Jeremy Gilkes, Neighbourhood Watch Co-ordinator
